  introduction

Angie is an experienced painter and print-maker who works primarily from her studio in Clifton, Bristol. During the last few years she has exhibited widely in galleries and shows in London and Oxford, as well as at The Art Garden, The Ginger Gallery and in the New Gallery at the RWA in Bristol.

Angie also works from life, taking commissions to produce portraits. For more details, or other commissions please see the contact page.

  thoughts on her work
Angie works intuitively from a range of ideas and experiences. Her current work is concerned with the vibrancy of colour and its relationship with the pictorial space. This creates a sense of place and stems from her emotional language. The viewer relates to it in a very sensual way. There is also a sense of unravelling – whether the works are figurative or abstract, or somewhere in between – the viewer’s attention is rewarded by searching out the underlying message and motifs of each work.
